Study The Word

WHAT IS IT?
Generation 148 is a project formed by young Seventh-day Adventists who are willing to form a generation of committed, involved Christians who are ready to face challenges. They are young people who seek to live their Christian journey for one reason only: the Glory of God, and thus reflect the character of the Creator, testify of His plan of salvation and live the fullness of this calling.

BASE: This is the name given to the meeting place for members of G148. It is the BASE from where all actions are coordinated. The address should be made public to the young people of the church and to non-baptized friends. This place should preferably be the home of one of the participants, and should be a fixed location for at least the period of the study SEASON. It is not forbidden to have the BASE at the church, but we understand that another location will provide a more informal environment.

CHALLENGE: This is a different, unusual and challenging activity carried out by BASE. This action can be weekly, biweekly or monthly. We will only shine the glory of God when we extend our hands to those who are in the midst of life’s bitterness.
